Gewiss Sustainability Oscar

    Terms and conditions

    1. Object and purpose

      1. Gewiss Sustainability Oscar is a video contest organized by Gewiss S.p.A., as part of the Sustainability Week event that promotes a week dedicated to sustainability, in order to share with all employees of the Gewiss Group the Group’s vision and mission as well as encourage virtuous behaviours, celebrating the value of teamwork.

      2. The amateur videos admitted to the video contest must have as theme sustainable behaviors that each of us adopts in our daily lives, at home and at work.

      3. The theme of sustainability concerns, for example: the environment, safety at work, well-being, health, energy saving and every other aspect that enhances the delicate relationship between human and nature.

    2. Who can participate

      1. All employees of the Gewiss Group (hereinafter “Participants”) can participate in the video contest, either individually, in a group or with family members.

      2. By participating in the video contest, each Participant declares to be the owner and to have the ownership of the video made, as well as to have obtained the necessary authorizations relating to all those who, for whatever reason, are filmed.

      3. The Participant declares to respect the principles contained in the Gewiss Code of Ethics available at the following link.

    3. Video requirements

      1. The Participant must make a video with the following characteristics:

        1. be original, non-professional (also made via mobile phone);

        2. be preferably but not necessarily in English language to allow everyone to understand the content and to facilitate the evaluation of the video by the dedicated team;

        3. have a maximum duration of 1 (one) minute;

        4. have both horizontal and vertical orientation;

        5. not to violate copyright against third parties.

      2. It is forbidden, under penalty of exclusion from the video contest, to make and upload videos contrary to morality and/ or having as object, by way of example and not exhaustive, references to:

        1. racism, bullying or cruelty to humans and/or animals;

        2. politics and political symbols, campaigns or movements;

        3. religions;

        4. nakedness

        5. drugs, smoking or alcohol;

        6. weapons of any kind.

    4. Terms and conditions of participation

      1. In order to participate in the video contest and upload the video, each Participant must fill in theform, with the required data (name, surname and work location), available at the following link and declare that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

      2. Each Participant may take part in the video contest by uploading only one video.

      3. Videos may be uploaded to the platform from 29 August 2023 until 08 September 2023.

    5. Conditions of selection

      1. Only videos, with the following requirements will be selected and evaluated:

        1. videos on sustainability, as described in paragraph 1 of these Terms and Conditions;

        2. videos uploaded to the platform by 08 September 2023 at the latest.

      2. The videos uploaded will be evaluated by the Sustainability Team of the Gewiss Group, which will select the first 3 (three) winners of the video contest.

    6. Rights of use and reproduction of the video – purpose

      1. The Participant acknowledges and declares that all rights, without exception, arising from the production of the video, will be transferred free of charge and exclusively and definitively to Gewiss S.p.A. which will therefore be the sole owner. For example, the processing, publication, distribution and reproduction rights will be transferred without limitation of time and space.

      2. With reference to the use of the video, the Participant relieves Gewiss S.p.A. of any responsibility for any disputes that may arise about the originality and/or paternity of the video, as well as for any claims for damages of any kind by third parties.

      3. Gewiss S.p.A. undertakes to use only the videos selected for the purposes related to the video contest and for purposes internal to the company.

    7. Privacy

      1. Gewiss S.p.A. undertakes to process the personal data provided by the Participant during thevideo contest in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The Participant declares that has read and understood the privacy information notice available at the following link.

      2. The Participant also declares that the subjects, for whatever reason, taken or filmed have given their explicit consent for the communication of personal data to Gewiss S.p.A. such as, by way of example, name, surname, image and voice. With reference to minors, who may be represented in the video, the Participant declares to have acquired the consent for the communication to Gewiss S.p.A. of personal data by those who exercise parental responsibility.

      3. The personal data collected during the video contest will be processed at and stored as indicated in the above mentioned privacy information notice.

    8. Applicable law

      1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law.
